To address this challenge, we have developed climate chambers that simulate controlled, extreme environmental conditions. These chambers allow for rigorous testing of battery packs and fuel cells, ensuring optimal performance in diverse and demanding environments. By utilizing our climate chambers, you can confidently evaluate the durability and performance of your powertrain components, ensuring their reliability even in the harshest conditions.
THE SOLUTION
Our climatic chambers for battery pack and fuel cell testing offer precise control over internal operating temperatures, with a range from -40°C to +90°C. Available in volumes of 16 m³ or 22 m³, with customizable sizes upon request, these chambers ensure reliable, repeatable test ing that adheres to IEC 60068-3-5 standards.
The temperature gradient for heating and cooling is meticulously managed, and average values are measured in the supply air, even without a thermal load. For battery prototypes, our chambers offer the option to flood the system as a safety measure, effectively preventing critical thermal issues and safeguarding both the batteries and the surrounding infrastructure. Built on our extensive engineering expertise, this modular climatic chamber system is capable of simulating a broad range of extreme environmental conditions in a safe and reliable manner.
